Pupils in Years 5 and 6 enjoyed an exciting and inspiring Careers Fair at school yesterday, providing them with a valuable insight into a wide range of future career opportunities.
The event welcomed representatives from a variety of industries, giving the children the chance to learn first-hand about different professions. Organisations in attendance included Hays Recruitment, Liverpool FC Foundation, Kainos, Family Hub, Tesco, the Police, Daddy Shark, Kelly Shirley, the Prison Service, NHS Liverpool and Atkins Réalis.
During the event, the pupils had the opportunity to speak directly with professionals, ask questions and explore the many pathways available to them in the future. The children approached each session with enthusiasm and curiosity, asking thoughtful and insightful questions that reflected their growing understanding of the world of work.
Staff were delighted to see pupils engaging so positively with visitors, gaining confidence as they discussed different roles and career journeys. The event aimed to broaden aspirations and help children begin to think about their own ambitions and future possibilities.
The school would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the organisations who generously gave their time to support the event and inspire pupils. Their contributions played a key part in making the day such a success.
Events like this are an important part of preparing pupils for the future, and it was clear that the Careers Fair left a lasting impression on all who took part
