This morning, we were delighted to welcome Ashley Dalton MP into school to see all the wonderful work we have been doing at BVPS.
Firstly, she visited our new Early Risers Breakfast Club as part of the Early Adopters Scheme and spoke to the children about their experiences. The children enjoyed talking about what their favourite parts of the Early Risers club were and how they feel it benefits them during the school day, whilst viewing the healthy breakfast choices on offer and the variety of activities taking place outside.
Mrs Yates was thrilled to be able to discuss the benefits of being chosen for the Early Adopters scheme and also the challenges that schools face when providing the service. It was also exciting to talk to her about our future plans to improve our outdoor areas and the Nursery expansion project. Ashley Dalton MP and Mrs Yates discussed the ongoing support provided by the school for our SEN children and the also the wellbeing of our school community.
