Several children from Year 6 were invited to play a special part in this weekend's armistice ceremonies.
The first one was at Ringtail Memorial (Booths) on Saturday, where the children attended a service and laid a wreath on behalf of everyone at BVPS. The wreath was extra special as it had been made by the children of Kids' Club.
On Sunday, Miss Smith and two children attended the Remembrance parade at the memorial on Junction Lane. The children were involved in reading of the soldiers from Burscough and Lathom and laid stones for the fallen soldiers.
All the children were amazing, representing the school, and living out our school values with their nurturing nature to the whole of the Burscough community. Well Done.
