Today, Mrs Swift held an exciting assembly about challenging the children at Burscough Village to always try something new, even if it is putting themselves outside of their comfort zones. 

Mrs Swift challenged three children in assembly to try something they had never tried before in front of their peers at the front of the hall.  There was a selection of challenges such as trying a certain type of food, like sushi, that they'd never eaten before, speaking out loud in front of an audience and also learning a new skill, such as keepy uppys with a football.

Well done to all the children who accepted the challenge.  We are looking forward to seeing how all our pupils put this approach into practice in the future.
