We are currently entering stage two of our media centre project, we were lucky enough to receive a donation from the PTFA of £2500 which funded a large proportion of the cost of the new soundproof room. We are now looking to buy the filming, recording, and AV equipment so the children can start filming and recording videos and podcasts to share with you all.
Last week we found out that we had won 2nd prize in the recent Tesco Community Project - £1000, which is amazing, but has left us £500 short of completing the next stage of the project.
As a school, we are looking at different grants and opportunities to complete the project and we are wondering if anybody works for a business that has access to community grants that we could apply for.
We are also currently looking for support to purchase a new iPad for every classroom, our school Ipads are several years old and have limited support with Apple updates. Having a new iPad for the children will help with School Improvement Targets and development of our computing and media area.
