Burscough Village children were lucky enough to be invited to an event at the new sports centre which is currently being refurbished. The Borough Council hosted the event and asked the children to design posters and images to be placed in the time capsule which will be placed in the new building.
The school took the newly elected Year 6 house captains / sports leaders and their designs and creativity were well received by all.
During the afternoon the children took part in a fitness lesson, unfortunately, the rain meant that this couldn't take place outside, however, this did not dampen their enthusiasm and all the children had a great session playing games.
At the end of the event everyone was treated with a goodie bag, the children can't wait to wear their new t-shirts on their Robinwood Activity trip.
