On Friday, Year 5 were lucky to have a visit from Alison Mills, Partner of the Liverpool law firm - DLA Piper. The visit was linked with the children's current History unit about law and order.
Children listened and asked questions about the role of a solicitor, what training is necessary, the difference between lawyers, barristers, and judges, and how this links with other jobs in the law system.
One pupil commented that the lesson had inspired them to want to become a barrister or solicitor in the future.
