We were thrilled to welcome Councillor Alan Cullens, Chairman of Lancashire County Council, and Councillor Eddie Pope into school this morning.
They attended our assembly to present one of our Year 5 pupils with the award for Primary School Best Individual Speaker at The Great Lancashire Debate.
The debate took place in November at County Hall, Preston where the children debated issues affecting the whole of Lancashire.
We were very proud of her and all the children who took part. It was such a great opportunity to showcase pupil voice and build confidence.
