The BVPS staff and with the help of a few friends of the school decided to treat the children (and families) to a Pantomime. The staff performed Litte Red Riding Hood to a sell-out crowd over two nights.
The Pantomime was packed with silly jokes, lots of audience participation, a few 'oh no he isn't', confetti cannons, and water guns! The audience was treated to Mrs Riley singing a solo and The Ugly Sister's (Mrs Swift and Mrs Rowlands) dancing and making the audience smile with thier singing and dancing skills!
The story was full of twists, which included a beanstalk and Little Red Riding Hood (Mrs Riley) marrying the green Bulk (Mrs Beevers)!
One parent said "Absolutely brilliant!! Well done to everyone involved we loved it!" Another went on to add "We came last night to watch and we loved it well done to all the amazing staff who work so many hours all week and managed to put it all together" Finally "Just wanted to say how absolutely amazing the Panto was last night!! We really enjoyed it and appreciate all the staff and others who have taken part in it. Thank you all so much!!"
We wanted to thank everyone who came to watch and supported the show, without the support of the PTFA and our BVPS community we would not have been able to create the Pantomime for the children. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did performing it for everyone.
The money raised from the ticket sales will continue to fund the technology for our media project as we look to develop and focus on STEM within our school. We look forward to sharing the first videos and creations using the media centre that the children are busy creating.
