Today, the children welcomed a special visitor into their assembly this morning.  Organised by Mrs Berkley, we gave a warm, friendly BVPS welcome to Ashley Dalton MP, Member of Parliament for West Lancashire. 

The children learnt all about the role of being a Member of Parliament, how they become a Member of Parliament and also why we have a Parliament.  The children were also given the opportunity to ask any burning questions that they had for our guest.  The children were very impressed that she met the King and attended the Coronation. 

This assembly was linked with our new school house system and also PSHE lessons.
