The Year 6 class had a great afternoon today learning all about their shadows.

They took part in some scientific investigations by exploring what happened to a shadow when the object was moved closer and further away from the light source. 

The children cut out different shapes and animals to create some shadow scenes with torches. We even had some of them try to recreate the scenes from Jurassic Park!

All the children were very engaged with the activity and had lots of fun.
