Last night Burscough Village celebrated with the Ormskirk Rotary team, Deputy Mayor and Mayoress and Ashley Dalton MP at Ormskirk Civic Hall. For the first time in several years we have been able to offer Year 6 the opportunity to achieve their Junior Rotary Award. To gain the award you need to experience and evidence several different areas, with one of the areas volunteering within a community setting for 10 weeks.

We are delighted that this year Evie was able to achieve the award she worked hard on her skills with running and knitting and documenting her experiences along the way.
During the award ceremony Evie was asked to talk to the room filled with children, parents and teachers from different schools about her experiences. We are all very proud of Evie and what she has achieved.
