'Your Year 6 pupils were a credit to your school, staff, and their parents. As a former teacher involved with many school trips, I have rarely seen such a happy class, eager to learn, listen and respond with such enthusiasm to questions and the various activities planned during the day. I was also amazed at how much knowledge they had already gained in covering the topic of Liverpool.
I fully enjoyed the time I shared with them and I hope you can pass on my congratulations for their behaviour and focus throughout a busy day. I wish them all success in their final year at Burscough Village Primary School and for their future time in secondary school.'
