We are excited to invite applications for a Room Leader to lead our Caterpillars two‑year‑old provision as part of our expanding Nursery.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape high‑quality early years provision in a brand‑new nursery building, with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities and a strong emphasis on physical activity, movement and active learning.
The Role
As Room Leader, you will:
- Lead the day‑to‑day running of the Caterpillars room
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher, EYFS Leader and wider team
- Ensure high standards of care, learning, safeguarding and wellbeing
- Lead planning, delivery and evaluation of EYFS provision for two‑year‑olds
- Deploy staff effectively and support consistent routines
- Build strong relationships with children, parents and carers
- Mentor and support other practitioners within the room
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (full and relevant)
- Has experience working with two‑year‑olds
- Is confident leading practice and supporting others
- Has a nurturing, organised and reflective approach

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.
